Turf rolls are strips of living lawn grown on dedicated fields. Once mature, the grass is cut together with its root layer and rolled up into rolls, which are then laid out on your plot.
Unlike sowing, you get a finished, dense and green lawn instantly — with no waiting for germination and no problems with weeds.
Before laying, the ground needs to be prepared — removing the old grass, levelling the terrain and lightly compacting the soil. The turf rolls are laid tightly side by side onto a moist base.
After laying, it is important to water the lawn thoroughly and maintain regular watering during the first two weeks. The lawn becomes fully rooted in approximately 2–3 weeks.
